Churchview Garden Homes
Churchview Garden Homes is a collaboration between Pivotal Housing Partners and Peoria Opportunities Foundation. The development is comprised of 47 units of affordable housing that will be located across three residential blocks in Peoria’s Southside neighborhood. Churchview Garden Homes will be located next to OSF’s St. Ann’s Garden of Hope. It is designed to offer a diverse range of housing options, including 16 one-bedroom units, 8 two-bedroom units, and 25 three-bedroom units. Construction is anticipated to begin in January of 2025.
MacArthur Senior Flats
In partnership once again with Pivotal Housing Partners, Peoria Opportunities Foundation is proud to announce its first affordable senior housing development in Peoria: MacArthur Senior Flats.
Located at the corner of McBean Street and MacArthur Highway, this newly constructed development will offer 52 modern units for seniors aged 55 and older. Situated on 1.5 acres, the four-story elevator building will feature 45 one-bedroom and 7 two-bedroom apartments, all designed with universal design principles and energy-efficient features.
MacArthur Senior Flats will include a range of amenities to promote active and connected living, including a fitness room, community space, and on-site commercial storefront. Ample parking will be available for both residents and guests.
The site is ideally positioned across from a park and within half a mile of a farmers market, community garden, shopping, restaurants, public transit, daycare options, and multiple religious institutions—offering convenience and accessibility for residents.
